Wonderful, spacious holiday apartment in a nostalgic farm. This holiday accommodation is suitable for 4-5 persons and is located nearby Egmond aan Zee (5 km). The beach in Egmond aan Zee is wide and safe; there is surveillance and a first aid post. Along the boulevard there are many bars and restaurants which offer a wonderful view of the sea. From your apartment you can make wonderful cycle tours through the dunes. The cycle paths lead you from Wijk aan Zee to Petten. The hinterland, however, is also very beautiful. There are wonderful mills and meadows and old villages. On the border of the Schermer and Beemster polder (world heritage) you will find De Rijp, a VOC city which used to be located at sea! In the Beemster Polder there are 5 fortresses as part of the Stelling van Amsterdam (world heritage as well), under which the Fort Spijkerboor. So, two world heritages have been combined on one location. Don’t forget to visit cheese city Alkmaar (cheese market on Friday). This apartment has a large living room and a separate, completely equipped kitchen-diner. Downstairs there is a very large, luxurious bathroom with separate shower cubicle and whirlpool bath! Also downstairs a spacious double bedroom. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms (2x 2 pers.).
