This atmospheric holiday accommodation is situated at the through road of Groet and concerns a renovated farmhouse which dates from 1900. This atmospheric accommodation is well kept and has a rural design. In the middle of the living room you will find a wood-burning stove. The open kitchen is small, but comfortable. The modern bathroom with bath is also on the ground floor. Through a stairs in the living room you can reach the first floor, which has 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor you will also find a second toilet. Next to the accommodation there is a fenced off terraces with picnic table. The accommodation is connected to the owner’s house. Behind the accommodation you can make wonderful walks in the wooded/dune area. Within 15 minutes you can reach the beach. This accommodation is extremely suitable for a beach holiday, since the dunes and the sea are nearby! The village Groet belongs to the municipality Bergen. An atmospheric village where you can enjoy wonderful terraces. You can make wonderful cycling- and walking tours. The accommodation is a perfect point of departure for trips to amongst others Hoorn, Alkmaar and the Zaanstreek. Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin are situated at on the edge of National Park De Schoorlse Duinen; wide dunes (1800 hectare). This area is characterized by a varied overgrowth, some brooks, many cycling- and walking paths and three high climbing dunes. One of them is situated at the end of the Wagenmakersweg. The buildings in the village Groet are mainly detached houses, built at the end of 1900. In the centre of Schoorl you will find the famous climbing dune. Lovely terraces will enable you to enjoy a drink while you regain your breath after climbing. Colored posts will show you the way through the dunes. You can choose either a long or a short route to sea, or even to the village centre of Bergen. You can also use your bike to discover the surrounding area.
