The only thing you need to do to reach the beach is cross the street. This luxurious holiday apartment has a spacious living room with open kitchen and is fitted with all modern conveniences. There is a spacious balcony with garden furniture. From this balcony, you can enjoy the sunset, the wonderful view of the sea and the activity on the beach. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with bunk beds. Bath-, bed- and kitchen linen are available. If you leave the apartment clean behind no final cleaning costs will be charged, otherwise Euro 100 is deducted from the deposit. A deposit of 50 Euro for the parking card is included in the deposit. Egmond aan Zee is particularly popular with people who love cheerfulness. There are many restaurants, beach pavilions and surprising shops. You can parade along the terraces or observe people while enjoying a lovely ice cream. Egmond aan Zee borders on the dune reserve where you can make wonderful cycling- and walking tours. The North Sea beach is one of the main recreation spots of the Netherlands. In Summer, but also during other seasons, the beach is extremely poplar. There are quiet parts, busy parts with for example many beach pavilions, parts for nudism, parts for surfers and sailors etc. The North Sea coast is characterized by the natural surrounding area with woods, dunes, polder landscape, beach and sea. Alkmaar is situated nearby. This city has many monuments, terraces, shops, department stores etc. Of course you should definitely visit the world-famous cheese market (only in Summer).
