Extremely stylish holiday apartment suitable for 6 persons, situated in a traditional Dutch farmhouse built in the shape of a cheese-cover which dates from 1850 and which still has many authentic details. The farm is located near the IJsselmeer. It has 3 bedrooms with double bed. There are 6 bikes which you may use for a small fee. You can use them to discover the wonderful surrounding area around the accommodation. The large common garden with orchard (7000m2) offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy rest and space and your own fresh plums, apples and pears. In the back of the garden you will find stables with horses and a terrain where the horses can ride. There is a trampoline for the children. Hem is a picturesque village in North Holland, situated between Hoorn (6km) and Enkhuizen (7km). This village has many facilities like a heated swimming pool and a 18-holes golf court. Children will definitely amuse themselves in Sprookjeswonderland (fairytale wonderland) and the Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen is definitely worth a visit. The monumental centre of Enkhuizen still shows many things which remind of the VOC-period, like the 16th century Drommedaris. In Hoorn you will find an indoor playground. Just like in the old days you can make the day tour Historic Triangle Driehoek Enkhuizen-Medemblik-Hoorn maken. A combined tour by steam engine and boat. This accommodation is not rented to groups of young people.
