Steenwijk, Luxury 4 pers. chalet, Overijssel

n the North of Overijssel, close to Steenwijk, you will find this cosy chalet (Swiss cottage). It is located on the edge of the woods on a nice family camping site ((parcel of about 200m2). An annex to the chalet is a lovely huge porch which has a partial covering so that in case of nice weather you always have the choice to either sit in the sun or sit in the shadow. A barbecue can also take place if the weather is less nice. On the camping site you can make use of the swimming pool and for the children there are many playground equipments. There is also a sports field on the camping site and in summer there are many activities for both young and old people. You can discover the woods of the nice country estate `de Eese`. The neighbourhood is extremely suitable for walks and cycle tours towards the water village Giethoorn, the National Park De Weerribben or one of the largest megalithic tombs in Havelte. In Steenwijk (4km) you can go shopping and get all the errands you need. In peak season 6 huge fairs take place. Also in Steenwijk there is a huge subtropical leisure pool. Play city Oranje (in Smilde) is recommended for the children. On the camping site there is a cosy canteen and a little shop for necessary errands.
