Stavenisse is situated on the island Tholen and is a remarkable peninsula with its picturesque villages and wonderful landscape. The long (over 40 km) seawall protects the land against the water. You can make wonderful walking- and cycling tours and discover the most wonderful spots, the polders, the dikes and the various birds. Within walking distance you will find a small beach at the Oosterschelde. Sint Annland (7 km) has a larger beach. Nearby you will find the historic city Bergen op Zoom with many events and places of interest. Antwerp, Goes, Zierikzee, Breda and Rotterdam are wonderful cities which you can easily reach and are definitely worth a visit. You can make use of the facilities of the camping Stavenisse with amongst others: outdoor swimming pool, splash pool, animation in summer and playground.
