Nearby you will also find the shopping centre, the cinema, museums, restaurants and a number of tourist activities like the Arsenaal (amusement park), Iguana (reptile zoo) etc. In spring, summer and autumn the municipality Vlissingen organizes various events like the liberation festival, night market, mussel feasts, Small Sail, fair etc. Forest, park and the harbour of Vlissingen are located near to the holiday accommodation; along the coast of Zeeland you can go cycling, walking, fishing and swimming. Middelburg, Veere and other tourist villages are definitely worth a visit and can be reached by car or bike. Zeeland Flanders and Belgium with cities like Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Knokke-Heist and Blankenberge can easily be reached through the Westerschelde tunnel and are also worth a visit.
