The cityscape is hardly changed in 300 years. With its many half-timbered houses and typical facades, Monschau is a town with a rich past and is living its history.

The house is located at a distance of 50 km from Aachen, and thus perfect for a "weekend away". The Christmas market in Aachen - you find festive stalls near the cathedral and town hall. Every year during the Christmas period the squares and streets change into a paradise of lights and colours, festive sounds and seductive smells. The festive stalls fascinates younger and older children. The wide range of beautiful and original, and precious goods make small and big dreams come true. The Aachen Christmas is a 'must' for fans of Aachen.

The house is located in Kalterherberg in the Eifel. In the Eifel there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself. Think of romantic walks through the fields and woods, the volcanic remnants in the Eifel are still present, walk by old watermills and water streams. There are also many opportunities to mountain bike, to sail on the lake, to canoe, to ski and to swim.
