Wonderful, atmospheric holiday accommodation, on wonderful, historic spot at the harbout of Bovenkarspel (Broekerhaven). The holiday accommodation is fitted with all modern conveniences. It concerns a so-called dike house and consists of 2 layers, suitable for 2 persons. Upstairs you will find the bedroom with view of the harbor. On the ground floor you will find the hall with toilet and an atmospheric living room with folding doors to the terrace and kitchen. You can make use of the bikes (for free!). You will find many atmospheric places and recreation facilities nearby. The beach (150m) and Enkhuizen (5 km) are located nearby. VOC-city Enkhuizen, surrounded by water and 15th century defensive works offers many unique surprises. The historic town centre, wonderful harbors, museums, tourist attractions, restaurants and atmospheric shopping streets. Many events are organized and children will definitely amuse themselves in Sprookjeswonderland (fairy tale wonderland). Within 15 minutes you can reach the atmospheric harbor city Hoorn which offers many harbors, shops, museums and cosy terraces. In Medemblik you will find Kasteel (Castle) Radbout which dates from 1288; one of the few castles which still exist in our province. Many buildings remind of the rich history. You can also take the steam train in order to reach Hoorn. Recreation centre Streekbos is located in the middle of a watery and woody area near Bovenkarspel. In this Streekbos you can make wonderful cycling- and walking tours. Also, many activities are organized here. It is the starting point of many cycling- and walking tours. The IJsselmeer (lake) is a wonderful place. You can swim here, make nice walking-, cycling tours, roller blade or perhaps sail. In Bovenkarspel you will find all kinds of facilities. Near the house (500m) you will find a small shopping centre with a supermarket, a baker, a hairdressing salon, a pet shop, a flower shop and a bike shop. The Central Station is nearby (700m). Further: Shopping centre Streekhof, a large playground near the station, the mill, swimming pool de Kloet and a lovely beanery are located near the accommodation.
