This comfortable holiday accommodation is situated on a child-friendly bungalow park near Schoorl. The centre directly borders on the wonderful woodland/dune area De Schoorlse Duinen. Beach and sea are also within walking distance. The holiday accommodation offers a free view of your own terrace and garden. The house (37m2) is suitable for max. 4-5 persons and is situated on a parcel of 150m2. Thanks to the pleasant gas heater this house can rented throughout the whole year. The neighboring cities Schoorl (within bike distance), Alkmaar, Schagen and Hoorn can easily be reached. The beach is nearby. The park offers a playground, a children’s farm, midget golf, a petit restaurant, a bar with billiard table, table tennis, two tennis courts and a recreation team during high season. The hilly woodland- and dune area is regarded as the widest (5km), highest (54m) and most beautiful dune area of the Netherlands, both in Summer and during all other seasons. It has many wonderful panoramic views. You can reach the sea via a wonderful walk through nature reserve. Of course you can also reach the beach by bike. There are many small roads and cycle paths which swing from village to village, through a varied landscape of steep landscapes and extended polders. Staatsboswachterij (forestry) Schoorl is a wonderful walking area; here you will find the highest and widest dunes of the Netherlands. The three giant climbing dunes are wonderful for children. This area further consists of coniferous wood, sand drifts, various kinds of heath, birches and broom. You can hear the garden warbler, the nightingale, the golden oriole and the black woodpecker. You will find wonderful walking- and cycling routes in the dune reserve of North Holland. Environmental engineers opened the dunes slightly at the Parnassia Valley, and consequently, salty North Sea water will enter the dunes area at high tide and westerly storms, which happens twice a year on average. As a result, creeks with various mixtures of salty and fresh water can be found here, and more importantly, new dynamic processes will allow this area to develop a more natural and varied flora and fauna.
