The small village of Nes is located in the province of Friesland, close to Heerenveen and near Akkrum, about 20 kilometres south-east of Leeuwarden. This region offers excellent opportunities for all kinds of water sports activities, such as sailing, fishing and canoeing. The Sneekermeer lake, located nearby, is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. Here you can really enjoy the watery environment.
Layout
The living room has a seating area with a wood-burning stove and a dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, combination microwave, kettle and a Nespresso. There is one bedroom with a twin bed. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a second toilet in the hallway. Outside, there is a furnished terrace.

- The 'Pean outdoor area' is car-free, you can park your car in the central parking lot. From there you can take a luggage cart to your Lodge. There are also electric charging stations in the parking lot.

Location and surroundings
The village of Nes is located in north-eastern Friesland, about 12 kilometres above Dokkum. It is very close to the Wadden Sea, a great place to enjoy the coast. Anyway, this part of Friesland is very beautiful to discover on foot or by bike. In Nes itself, the Johanneskerk is a place of interest. This striking brick church from the 13th century is an official national monument. The cemetery around it is an allied cemetery. Nes is also the birthplace of well-known children's book author Nynke van Hichtum. There is a bust of the writer in the village.
